Have you ever had Chili’s trio fajita’s with the steak, chicken and shrimp?  Well if you have this is the copycat recipe of the shrimp.  Even if you haven’t had it before you will love it! The shrimp is cooked with garlic, a little bit of butter and lime.  Then it is all tossed with the perfect blend of seasonings.  Serve it along side with broccoli salad, crusty bread and some fruit!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 24 fresh large shrimp (about 1 lb), peeled and deveined
  • 1 lime

Seasoning:

  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/8 tsp. onion powder

Directions

Make the seasoning blend by combining all the spices in a small bowl.  Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.  Add butter to the pan.  When butter is melted, stir in the pressed garlic. Immediately, add shrimp to the pan.  Cut lime in half and squeeze each half into the pan over the shrimp.  Sprinkle the entire seasoning blend over shrimp.  Saute 5 to 8 minutes until lightly brown.  Turn shrimp over and cook on other side.  Shrimp is done when it is turns pink.
