Orange bread is one of my husband’s family favorite recipe. You melt some butter and add in sugar and a whole lot of orange zest mix it all around.  Then you dip the sides of each biscuit into the divine sugar mixture. Place in a bundt pan and bake to perfection.

Ingredients:

  • 3 packages of refrigerated biscuits (or one recipe of this homemade version)
  • 1 ½ cubes of butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • rind from 2 oranges

Directions:

Melt the butter in a microwave safe dish.  Add in the sugar and the orange rind into the melted butter.  Dip each side of the biscuit into the sugar mixture and form around Bundt cake pan, setting biscuits on their sides, lining side to side around in the Bundt cake pan.

Bake at 375 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes. Turn out immediately onto a plate. Do not overcook.
