Tender juicy chicken and soft tender vegetables.  These are by far one of the best Kabob recipes you will ever make.  Just the right amount of sweet (from the honey) and salty (from the soy sauce).  Please try them as soon as possible, you will be glad you did!

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 tbsp. prepared horseradish
  • 2 tsp. steak seasoning
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 lbs. boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 large bell pepper, cut into 1-1/2 inch chunks
  • 1 large onion, cut into 1-1/2 inch wedges
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut into 1-1/2 inch chunks

Directions

In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Pour 1 cup of marinade into a large ziploc bag. Add the chicken, close and turn to coat.  Marinate in the fridge 5-6 hours.  Cover the rest of the marinade and put it in the fridge.

While the chicken is marinading cut the vegetables.  After 5-6 hours pull the chicken out of the fridge and drain the marinade.  On six metal skewers or wooden skewers that have been soaked in water, thread the chicken and vegetables.  Grill, covered over medium heat 5-7 minutes on each side until the chicken is cooked through.  While chicken is cooking, baste it frequently with the reserved marinade.  Remove from grill and enjoy!
